10 Things I’ve learned in my early 20s

  1. Peppermint tea is the answer to everything.
  2. If he’s interested believe me, you’ll know.
  3. Like the saying goes: Don’t wait for the light to appear at the end of the tunnel. Go down there and light the bloody thing yourself.
  4. The sooner you stop caring what other people may/may not think of you, the better.
  5.  Just because you don’t go out partying every week doesn’t mean you’re not living your life. Pyjamas, chocolate, cup of tea and a David Attenborough doc? Now that’s where it’s at! 😉
  6. There’s no shame in asking for help.
  7. Eat your greens. I can’t stress this enough.
  8. Just because something’s expensive, doesn’t mean it’s good.
  9. Whether you’re 23 or 43, life’s too short not to live every moment the best you can.
  10. You’re still finding out who you are. And that’s ok. Treat it like an adventure and have fun.

All my love,

Violet xx
