Jake’s chested heaved and fell as he let out a growling, shaking breath. His climax hit hard, sending his hips jerking violently while his back arched off the mattress. Still he continued, pumping the fleshlight faster until every last spasm in his body left him, leaving him a panting sweaty mess on the bed.
It had been a stressful few days. After two matinee days back to back, suffice to say he was exhausted and more than ready for a well earned long sleep. But that night, he just couldn’t sleep for the raging erection in his pants. He’d thought of every boring thing on the planet to try and quell it, but nothing prevailed. So he gave in to his frustrations, pumping every damned drop of desire out of him so maybe, just maybe, he could actually get some sleep.
Though tired enough now for sleep, his brow furrowed frustrated as he lay on his side. Why couldn’t he just get that damn woman out of his head? He’d clammed up the second he’d seen her. He was never like that, yet around her he could barely look her in the eye or speak to her, that was until she came bursting in to the crew room with her sharp-tongued tirade, convinced he hated her.
And like a lion backed in to a corner, he’d gone on the defensive and now she hated him. Nice one Jake, he chastised himself. Way to go and break the ice, you fucking idiot. Thoughts of apologising plagued his mind. He deserved the go she had at him, he wasn’t exactly pleasant to her in the selective shyness that hit him like a train every time she was around him. He was usually so confident around women, what happened to him?
She wasn’t the type of woman he usually went for, usually overbearing business types he’d picked up in bars on nights out, both looking for a one night fling and getting exactly that. Lily was the opposite, all cute and wholesome. She was the kind of woman men wanted to settle down with, and he was far off that. Yet he was so drawn to her and he couldn’t shake it. He could see she was a sweet girl, but that sharp tongue of hers caught him completely off guard and he respected her for that; that she refused to take any of his shit and say exactly what she thought.
But when she tripped over herself, he’d acted completely on instinct. He couldn’t just let her fall as he made his way past her. Landing head first on top of a stiff, plastic basket would be pretty damn painful at best, hospital trip at worst. He may have been an asshole to her but he wasn’t cruel. But the way she looked at him, all doe-eyed with those cutely flushed cheeks and his arm around her homely curves, he couldn’t deny to himself that he wanted to feel that again.
He probably wouldn’t though, he thought to himself. She made it clear she didn’t even like him, let alone feel attracted to him. Maybe he’d be able to fix things, start a clean sheet and actually be on some friendly terms with her. It’d certainly make working together a lot easier. Whether or not she’d accept his offer after the way he spoke to her, he didn’t know.
Heaving a deep breath, Jake dropped his head back on the pillow. He had some serious apologising to do.
