The Hotel Bar

Low golden lights, black marble bar
Martinis and Marlboro cigarettes
Musty smell of smoke and aftershave fills my nostrils
While the jazz band plays smooth in the corner

Perched on the stool your eyes find mine
Prowling up and down my body
Bourbon resting in your hands
Charcoal business suit

Tie loosened, dark hair ruffled from a hard day
I bite my lip
Slowly lifting my skirt over my crossed legs
In charged silence

Pupils dilate with hungry fire
At the sight of black stocking and suspender underneath
Your breath catches, heat lingers heavy
At my whispering in your ear

What I want to do to you
I’m met with wide eyed wonder
Shock and longing mixture
I take your hand

And teasingly slow

Lead you upstairs to your hotel room
