I want to hold your hand

This is the hand of a man I love. This the hand of a man who, I’m so lucky, loves me.

This is the hand of a man that has guided me, protected me and shown me what unconditional love really means. This is the hand of a man who has stared deep into my soul, seen me warts and all, shown and taught me the ways of physical love.

These are hands who love and work hard to provide. These are hands who have experienced an eclectic range of emotions, who has seen good times and bad, who laughs and who cries. They are hands that tuck me in at night, that love the parts of my body I want to change and that work hard so we can build our lives together.

These are hands that have held me up during good times and helped me back up during the bad. Hands that have seen me at my best and worst and for some reason, still wants to be with me.

This is the hand of a man that when I reflect on his love, tears spring to my eyes. I don’t know why he loves me the way he does; I don’t feel worthy of such love, truthfully. But I am lucky and I am so thankful for him. His promise to be my friend, lover and protector moved me when I first read it and still moves me now, as I have promised to him.

I want to hold his hand for as long as I possibly can. This is a hand I don’t want to let go of.

    It’s great to be thankful….it’s the cornerstone of happiness, but you are worthy. Know and believe that.

    Humble is good. Humble is great, but feeling unworthy is not humbleness.

    And he is lucky to have you. Don’t forget that loving someone who is grateful and appreciative of that love truly is priceless. I’m sure he knows this though.
    You have a great thing going. It’s so touching to see it doesn’t exist in the world. True love and devotion can be had.

    1. This is such a sweet comment, thank you so much 💝 He’s a very loving man and goes completely out of his way to make sure I’m happy and looked after, and I try my best to do that for him. We have our good and bad times just like any other couple, but I struck the jackpot with him. He has such a sweet heart and I just want him to be happy 😊💝 xx
