I’ve seen it covered in a variety of articles all asking the same question: Why do straight women watch gay porn?

That’s a question I had for quite a while, but with the shoe on the other foot. Why do so many men, particularly straight men, watch lesbian porn?

Sexuality, as we know, is so broad and complex.

When I first started watching porn, one of the earliest videos I watched was lesbian porn, to finally see what all the fuss was about.

Truthfully, it didn’t do much for me, if anything. It still doesn’t. Some of it I enjoy, but rarely in comparison to straight porn.

I have watched gay porn (two men) and much prefer it to lesbian porn by a grand mile. While I never watched porn in my teens, I remember seeing in TV series where some male characters were intimate together, which I found myself getting aroused by.

When reading women’s opinions on why they watch gay/bisexual porn, there were quite a few of the answers that resonated strongly with me as well.

If I describe myself, I’d say I am, for the most part, a straight woman with some fluidity in her sexuality. That’s what I resonate strongest with. Like I said in my last post, some may say because of that I’m therefore bi or pan etc. I don’t have an opinion. If you want to call me that, call me that. Just don’t be nasty with it.

Some of the answers from these women I resonated with went as follows:

It tended to be either more “gentle” or “thoughtful” than straight porn, taking more time for foreplay to be ready for sex. Particularly anal sex, if it was shown.

More exploration in to other aspects of sexuality.

Men turn us on. What’s better than one man enjoying himself? Two, of course! 😂

For me, there’s nothing better than seeing a man in the throes of pleasure. Hearing two is just lovely!

Also, I began seeing more of MMF videos that wasn’t just centred around two men paying their sole attentions to a woman (nothing wrong with that, of course!) but enjoying time with each other as well.

Honestly, I couldn’t tell you the massive intricacies and ins and outs (pardon the awful pun) of why I enjoy it. I adore those who are so confident in their own skin and express their sexuality so fearlessly, whatever that may be. Just another part of my otherwise rather fluid streak in my own sexual preferences.
