It’s cosplay time!! 😀

Sorry if I’ve not been as active as normal on here, I’m currently in the north of Wales for Sci-Fi Weekender 2018 aka the Sci-Fi Con I mentioned in previous posts 😊

We’ve just got back from Day 1 of cosplay and it is so much fun!

I’ve done my first ever cosplay attempting Rachael from Blade Runner in my blazer, crazily oversized shirt (similar to the one in the movie) and pencil skirt 😂

I have some pictures with other people in cosplay, including a lovely gent dressed as Colonel Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis (I’m a huge Stargate fan, so I had to have a picture. I’ve blacked out their faces (unless it’s already covered) out of privacy)

My boyfriend cosplayed as Hunk from the Resident Evil series. Doesn’t he look awesome? 😊

There’s been a whole load of activities, interviews, panels and talks, including a talk from Spyros Malaris, the man who directed the alien autopsy hoax film, which was pretty cool!

Also, there were talks from authors/editors/publishers about publishing, self-publishing and writing in different genres etc. which I wasn’t expecting at all but super happy they had! I learned a whole lot 😀

I’ve met some lovely authors so far; it’s great being able to talk with other writers and I’m looking forward to giving their books a read! 😊

I’ve got so many more pictures which I’ll be putting up and hopefully have more tomorrow after day 2 of revelling in nerdiness!
