Answering your questions – bluebird

This post’s questions come from bluebird of A bluebird’s Journey ๐Ÿ™‚

Like all the others so far, these questions really got me thinking and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed answering them ๐Ÿ™‚

Where does the inspiration come from from your writing? Why do you like writing? You have a partner, correct? Are they willing to experiment and explore with you?

I get inspiration for writing from many things. It could be a song, a picture, when I’m out and about etc. Admittedly, I sometimes go in to “writer mode” when I’m out and have some time to just sit and look around, thinking of how to depict my surroundings.

I’ve loved writing since being a child. It really clicked for me when I was 9, where I remember both in school and at home, writing stories on A4 paper, drawing my own illustrations, cover art and stapling it together to make a makeshift book.

I love being able to create something, making your own characters, exploring emotional developments and journeys through a story etc. Not only is it fun, it’s been a great way for me to learn and create perspectives well outside my own.

If you want to get a certain message across, entertain, laugh, cry, etc. you can create it yourself. Writing is one of things I love the most. And if someone resonates with what your story’s trying to tell? Boy, does that feel good! ๐Ÿ˜€ Also, coming from a performance background, writing is encouraged. Performing is not an easy industry to break in to, so one way to do it is by making your own work.

Yes you are correct, I am in a long-term relationship ๐Ÿ™‚ He has encouraged me with my stories and blog posts when I was doubtful, and is very understanding and open-minded. Likeย all relationships, there’s things we both like, dislike, and meet in the middle.

I’m more than happy talking about myself in regards to experiment and exploration, but out of respect to his privacy, I’llย not go in to the graphic details ๐Ÿ™‚

Put it this way, I wouldn’t have been able to get this far without an open-minded partner ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you so much for your questions, I loved them! ๐Ÿ™‚
